Cacao/ Teas/ Tonics/ all custom orders and Skin Care ****ALL SALES ARE FINAL****  WE WILL ONLY REPLACE ORDERS THAT ARE DAMAGED, INACCURATE OR WERE NOT MADE CORRECTLY TO THE ORDER DETAILS. Due to our orders being handmade, no returns, or refunds are possible. 

Only products purchased from our online store may be returned for refund or exchanged. Any Better Humans products purchased from other online retailers or store locations are not accepted for return or exchanges, and must be returned to the original place of purchase.

If you wish to return an item(s) from your online order, please download, complete and email the Return Form  with a brief explanation. We will do our best to quickly transform  your unpleasant situation.

Damaged Items

When your order arrives, please inspect the packaging & product thoroughly for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. It is normal for the shipping carton to show some wear. However, if damage occurred to the item(s) in your shipment, please contact us immediately. 

  • Please have your order number, email address and phone number ready 
  • Please retain the shipping box, packing materials and the damaged items for inspection by the carrier.
  • CACAO: Our cacao is 100% pure. Since we do not add emulsifiers, you may witness a “BLOOMING” process responsible for the white spots or thin discoloration layer on your cacao. This occurs when the natural fats go through temperature changes and crystals separate. It is normal. The powerful properties of your cacao are totally intact. Simply melt and enjoy. 
  • BODY BUTTERS: Our products are 100% free of chemicals and stabilizers, therefore, the natural fat molecules in the  product might be subject to temperature changes during shipping and transport. Lost/Stolen Package:

Better Humans is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you have not received your packaged or it is stolen, please contact the shipping carrier on your receipt to file a lost/stolen package claim.

Claims & returns  received within:

0 – 21 days from purchase date, returns will be issued as store credit only. Store credit does not have cash value and cannot be refunded.

21+ days from purchase date, claims are no longer accepted.

How to return:

Step 1. Fill out the Return/Exchange Form: please click here to print it out. 

Step 2. Package the items for return in any box and enclose the completed Return/Exchange Form.

Step 3. Mail your items to: Better Humans P.O.Box:___  Spring TX 77381

Please note that you are responsible for shipping costs and the safe return of merchandise.

To protect you from package loss and to ensure prompt delivery, we recommend shipping your return package via UPS or insured Parcel Post. Please retain receipts and tracking information for your records. Regrettably, return shipping and handling charges are not refundable. In the case of damaged items, please refer to the “Damaged Items” section.

Step 4. Resolutions are processed within 10 business days of receipt. You will receive an email confirmation once your return or exchange has been processed.

Note to all customers who use promotional codes on orders: These are considered a discount on the order, and therefore the value of the discount will not be refunded when your return or exchange is processed. Also, the promotional code or discount will not apply to an exchange, if one is requested.

Please keep in mind:

+ We do not accept empty bottles.

+ In order to receive resolution on a kit, all products in the kit must be returned.

+ When an exchange is requested, a store credit will be issued for the returned item, and the credit will be used to purchase the new item. If an item is purchased with a store credit, and returned, it will be reimbursed as store credit. 

+ If your original payment method is no longer valid or has passed its expiration date, we are only able to issue a refund in the form of a store credit, for any products returned within 0-30 days.

+ International Clients: Because duties and taxes are collected by the governing country (and not Better Humans) we cannot provide a refund for these expenses. This includes brokerage fees for Canadian Clients.

+If you have purchased Better Humans products from one of our authorized resellers, please contact that retailer for return or exchange information. Returns from other resellers like Amazon will not be accepted.
